I am a mother and educator of four children, with a background ranging from financial to being a trained nurse. I have always had a love of art and painting, and this has been a hobby I have enjoyed when time has allowed. I have found myself in the position of home educating my three youngest children and we share many exciting adventures and learning experiences. I happened to create a set of spoons to accompany some of their favourite books and to encourage my youngest child with his speech.
I shared these to friends via Facebook in September 2015 and from there I had requests for sets of spoons for their own children, thus The Story Spoon Company (named by my eldest child) was created. My spoons, stones, nesting dolls and peg people are extremely popular and being purchased across the world including Australia, USA and countries within Europe. I presently take orders via my Facebook page "The Story Spoon Company" and "The Story Stone Company". It is wonderful to know they are being enjoyed by children across the globe. All the spoons and stones are painted with non toxic acrylic paints and sealed with a child safe toy sealant any felt embellishments are toy safe.. All toys are fully CE tested and have conformance certificates. All products are made to order for each customer.
